Yippy Kai Yay (How do you spell that?)

Best Christmas Movies Ever:

Die Hard
National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation
Home Alone
It's a Wonderful Life
The Muppet Christmas Carol
Better Off Dead (not really about Christmas, but it is in there)

You'll notice that I have excluded A Christmas Story, that is because after years of thinking it is good, watching it and realizing it is incredibly over rated and really not that funny, then forgetting by the next year, I have accepted permanently that I don't like it. What are your favorites?

Die Hard 1 and 2 were Christmas movies - what happened to three? that always upset me that they moved away from the Christmas formula for number three. My brother and I used to watch the Die Hard movies on Christmas when they would play on the USA channel. Nothing says "Christmas" in my mind like Bruce Willis' bloody glass-filled feet... Man, that is the best Christmas movie of all time.

Elf is a good one, Francisco is fun to say. I watched A Christmas Story last night with my wife and I will admit that the leg lamp is pretty funny, but I still contend that it is not a tenth of the movie that Christmas Vacation is.

Are you serious? No Nightmare Before Christmas?!!

never seen it

I despise A Christmas Story. Don't know why, just always have. I like National Lampoon's X-mas Vacation and Ocean's 11 (I know it's not a xmas movie but it has been on TBS or TNT non-stop for the past few days). I also like Love Actually as a nice, cheesy Christmas movie.
